Drives SafetyRatios’ mission to standardise metrics and optimise safety norms, while advising clients as a Chartered Safety Manager and Chartered Construction Manager.

With over two decades of experience including work on landmark projects in the UK and the Middle East, Bash's role as a Chartered Safety Practitioner and Chartered Construction Manager is to challenge and redefine conventional safety standards.

His decades of experience includes major stints at global engineering corporations including Jacobs and AECOM. There he advised clients on multi-billion USD projects including:

  • Hinkley C Nuclear New-Build, Somerset, UK: Advised UK and French teams on applying EU Directive 92/57/EEC for design-phase safety compliance and led safety review of major procurement packages.
  • Midfield Terminal Complex, Abu Dhabi Airport, UAE: Advised on site safety management on major airside construction works and the earthworks package for the entire terminal complex.
  • Yas Mall Development, Abu Dhabi, UAE: Led a team of 70 HSE professionals supporting a site team 10,000 strong from piling through commissioning and fit-out works.
  • Doha Oasis, Doha, Qatar: Served as primary safety leader, initially as HSE Manager and subsequently as a Construction Manager with oversight of safety, quality, progress, planning and logistics.

At SafetyRatios, he fuses lived-through field experience with newly developed skills in user-focused design and communication — translating practical insight into user-centred strategic thinking. His leadership advances SafetyRatios’ mission to standardise safety metrics and optimise safety norms.
